For the third year running, Werner Enterprises is one of the top companies for being military friendly. There were more than twenty-five hundred companies that were eligible and Werner made the list of fifty based on how many veterans they hire, the training programs that they offer them, and the policies that they have for people who are in the National Guard or the Reserves.
Not all companies respect these kinds of obligations, but Werner Enterprises is one company that consistently does respect these people and what they are doing for our country. There are valuable skills that veterans have, and when they are able to take those skills and use them in the transportation industry they can help others to succeed and they can also excel at their jobs. Werner understands this, and that’s part of the reason why the company is so interested in hiring veterans and taking good care of their employees who are still in the military.
The company has been around since 1956 and is a premiere business in both transportation and logistics with coverage in a lot of countries. That and its policy on the military, help to keep it moving forward.
