Global Insight has made a decision to allow itself to be acquired by IHS. IHS is a leading source of insight and information on a global scale, and Global Insight deals with the forecasting of financial and economic analysis.

Both companies appear as though they will work very well together, and they’re committed to the same kinds of projects and goals and aspirations. So, that ensures that there should be little dissonance within the company and during the acquisition. With a lot of clients throughout the world, both companies have the opportunity to grow and prosper, and if they are joined with one another there will be higher chances of seeing them continue to flourish. This is good news for the clients that they have and the people who rely on what the two companies can offer them.

Certainly not everyone agrees with the acquisition, but there are many more in favor than there are individuals opposed to it.
