Roberto G. Romero of Bridgeport, Connecticut will face felony charges in City Court this Tuesday.

Police report that he was carrying a loaded Glock 45 while driving a truck filled with live lobsters to the Westchester Country Club. Lt. Joseph Verille states that the gun was found in between the truck’s seat wrapped in a sweatshirt and concealed in a black bag.

Romero, 39, was stopped after making an illegal right turn on July 16, at the intersection of Cedar and Purchase street. No stranger to trouble, Romero’s record includes a three year stint in prison for a drug conviction, a suspended driver’s license for failing to payoff tickets and a previous arrest for gun possession. He is now being charged with one count second-degree and two counts third-degree felonies for possession of a weapon.

Romero is also being charged with a misdemeanor for the aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and was summoned for the illegal right turn as well.
