On July 18th and 19th the Oregon Department of Transportation Motor Carrier Transportation Division will be offering voluntary truck inspections at 7 locations throughout the state.
The safety inspections will take approximately 30 minutes. Inspectors will be checking for valid a CDL and medical card. They will also be checking trucks and trailers against Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance inspection standards.
Vehicles that pass the inspection will be given a CVSA approval sticker that is good for three months.
If you are in the area and would like to participate, you should make an appointment.
Inspection times are:
12pm-8pm Friday, July 18th
10am-5 pm Saturday, July 19th.
