There just doesn’t seem to be any good news for the stock market today. Unfortunately, the same is true for gold and oil, as they all continue to decline.
That isn’t the way that those who invested in these things expected it to be. They thought that they would just keep making money and never have to worry about things going down instead of up.
Unfortunately, commodities are plummeting and that’s very damaging to consumers, retail businesses, and trucking companies who need to move a lot of goods on a regular basis to stay afloat.
The lowered price of oil should be helpful but it’s actually not. Diesel hasn’t come down the way that regular gasoline has, and that means that the relief that truckers were looking for and expecting hasn’t come. Instead, prices have continued to go up and trucking companies have continued to go out of business because demand is low and costs are high.
It doesn’t appear that this will be changing anytime soon, since the commodities markets continue to fall and erase any gains that they occasionally make.
